Today I had successfully managed to embarass myself in front of a friend. We had both just finished tutorial and since she didn't bring her car along earlier this afternoon, I offered her a ride home. I unlocked my car as I neared it and once I heard the two *blip blip*... indicating my car is now officially unlocked, I proceeded to of course... open the door to the driver's seat while my friend on the passenger's. To my horror, I let out a sudden yelp, "Ehh, ni bukan kereta I lah!!"(Hey, this isn't my car!!). The funny thing was, the door actually opened! And relatively, my car, similar to that car minus the stuff hanging from the rearview mirror, was the one parked beside it. Haniz laughed like hell. It WAS scorching hot and I couldn't see the lights blinking to my car when I unlocked it... thus what-I-just-told-you. Man... this better be the last.
It's not the first time I've endured such experience actually. Third or fourth time I think. Earlier this year I had inserted my key in someone else's bonnet as an attempt to open it thinking it was my car and had the nerve to panic and be pissed to why the damn thing wouldn't open. Luckily, I peered through the interior and realized it wasn't mine. Of course, like what happened today, my car was right next to it. It wasn't AS embarassing coz I did scan through the parking lot to check if anyone had seen what had just happened. Thank God I was alone... and thank God the car owner wasn't around either. Or else I would've just died right there. Haha.
Ooh well... by the way check this out!

Hooyea!! That's what I have beside my driving seat these days. If you're thinking of messing with me, you've got a cota to deal with! Hahaha. Sekali libas, guarantee pengsan.

There's something about Math that makes everything you've sorted out go haywire. Maybe the ultimate reason to why most of my Engineering Math lecturers have white hair(God forbid moi of undergoing the same thing but I think I'm starting to lose hair). Or why SOME people cry everytime before a Math final paper strikes. Haha, no offense. Or how you've struggled so hard before a paper and all of a sudden, when you get to the exam hall, every single arithmetic knowledge you had goes kapoot? Depressing ain't it? How about calculating your ass off on a simply stated single line equation worthy of 25 marks? Yes, the solution can definitely take up pages. Willing to endure the challenge? If not, forget about taking up engineering. The best part is, every other subject is related to it. At the end of the day, trust me... you'll be talking digits.
Sorry, I just came back from a Math test, so that's where all this is really coming from.

Yesterday after coming home to a house which was in total disaster(read:renovation) I was surprised by the news my bro had brought to me. My little niece Khadijah(my cousin's daughter) aged 3 if I recall properly, passed away peacefully last Friday afternoon after suffering from cancer. The last time I saw her was during my cousin's wedding and she was one of the purple flowergirls that day. Even with all the hair loss from chemo, she had looked so pretty and everyone wanted to take pictures of her. I couldn't find her picture to put up here but needless to say, she was an angel that shone upon everyone. With people she knew, mostly her uncles and aunts, she'd give a big "Hi!" and wave to that particular person which was always, always responded with the same enthusiasm she bestowed. I remember writing an entry of her last year when I went to visit her. And here I am writing about her again, except this time, she's no longer breathing in this world. Innalillahi wainna ilaihi raji'un. From Allah we come and unto Him we shall return.
Point to ponder: The only difference with us and the little Khadijah is that she is guaranteed of Heaven, but us? Wallahua'lam missawab.
Today, I brought 3 of my brothers to watch Shrek 2. An extremely sweet and witty movie in my opinion. Absolutely worth the watch despite the outrageously long queue you'd have to endure. Do book the tickets ahead if you're planning to watch it anytime soon or else you'd end up getting sucky seats like I did. Or perhaps, wait a week or two and catch it when the Shrek 2 fever has died down.
I've been having problems sleeping the past few weeks. It's a bit unusual coz I'm normally among the first to doze off. But when I finally do drift to sleep, I tend to wake up several times in the middle of the night for apparently no reason. It's just so peculiar. I have to get myself to be around with people more to avoid being alone. Yeah, I do and think the weirdest things when I'm alone and when it gets too deep, that's when it really gets to me. I have to stop all this nonsense *slaps head*
And We most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruit; and give good news to the patient, who, when a misfortune befalls them, say: Surely we are God's and to Him we shall surely return. Those are they on whom are blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those are the followers of the right course.(2:155-157)

I'm in the desert of the so-called Intelligent City on a blissful Saturday morning... alone. What a start to a weekend huh? Also I'm only a few weeks into the new semester and I already have a Math test coming up. Talk about blissful.
I just found out that one of my favourite bloggers, Rudy has finally decided to step down from the blogging world after soon tying the knot with his wife-to-be, Insyirah. If you're one of the many who followed his life story, you'd be amazed at how this young man pulled through life despite the many struggles he encountered from his studying days in Japan up to this very day. I'm not so sure if I or anyone else would be able to do the same, put in his shoes. But all the same, "Selamat Pengantin Baru to Rudy of Bluehikari". May you lead a prosperous life along with your wife and forever be in the wings of Allah's grace.
"He is the Creator of the heavens and the each. He has given you partners from among yourselves and, similarly, made the cattle also males and females. That is how he multiplies you. Nothing can be compared to Him, He is the All-hearing, the All-seeing." (43:11)
"And one of His signs is that He created mates for you from your own species that you may find comfort in them and He put between you and them love and compassion. Most surely there are signs in this for people who reflect" (30:21)

Yes!!! I'm back and running with a Streamyx Internet connection to boot. Those TMnet people are very much efficient. I registered online on Monday and already had meself a connection running the next day. Once I get the wireless router, I'll be able to go online anywhere in the house within 200 metres of reach, cool ey? At least for now, I'm finally connected to the world... or virtual world for that matter. I just realized how much the Internet plays an important role in my life *sigh*
Other than that, my current pathetic TV only displays tv1 & tv2 plus a very snowy-looking ntv7, so at least the Net serves for a bit of an entertainment. Also, to those of you who laughed at me for not even getting tv3(including my mom), wait till I get Astro installed, then I'll make you all swallow your own laughter. Haha! I suddenly feel good all over... :p
For the uninitiated, I'm currently living off campus, so that's what the whole chaos is all about. Glad I have a proper kitchen and the likes so I can finally get some cooking done rather than taking-out food like I used to. Good quality food, I mean. Not instant Maggi noodles okay? Can't remember the last time I had that though. So we're taking turns to cook and we just gobble up whatever the other prepares... which is really not bad at all you know. Perhaps delicious too I might say... haha.
So yea, I'm finally back, those who've missed me can stop doing so coz I'm back to haunt and stalk you =)

Every time I'm down, my instant temporary remedy would be watching reruns of Friends and Friends' Bloopers. I can just laugh at the same jokes all over again and can never get bored with any of it. Just like how it is with P.Ramlee movies for some of us. It's amazing how many of us can just watch the same old thing and laugh at the same old jokes every time we catch it on TV. Well, 10 seasons of Friends is actually 10 years worth of good comedy. And that's just as far as it goes... coz there won't be anymore new episodes to bright up my life... no more of Phoebe's Smellycat or Chandler's admired sarcasm. My point? Yeah, I'm currently in one those unstable states; have to get myself a spirit lift-up.
Anyway, I've been Internet deprived for a few days. Until I start getting my Internet access at my new place, guess I won't be blogging much. It's been a hectic first few weeks of classes and I still have things to sort and settle. My house right now is going through major flooring renovation and the whole day today, we've been lifting all sorts of ornaments and furniture, carpets and whatnots upstairs to accommodate the start of the whole hullabaloo tomorrow. And since we're running out of place to stuff everything, my room has been a common target. It looks more like a store now than an actual bedroom.
Oh well, I don't really mind since I'm only home once a week or two. Glad I won't be around when the whole renovation starts, I've been through one before and it was really one hell of an experience as it mainly involved the whole house. The only room we could use then was my parents' room and that's basically where we did everything. Haha, that didn't exactly turn out right, did it? What I meant was, we ate there, slept there and uhh... sheltered there? Ahh well, all the best to the rest of the 'hommies' in living with the chaos.
Until later my dearest readers... =)
We can easily manage if we will only take, each day, the burden appointed to it. But the load will be too heavy for us if we carry yesterday's burden over again today, and then add the burden of the morrow before we are required to bear it. --John Newton

Hari ni, tayar kereta saya bocor. I ran over a screw. Luckily for me, it happened on campus. So I recruited some guy friends to help me jack the car and change the tyre. No actually let me rephrase that. I had a guy friend who recruited HIS friends whom I later made friends with. Okay, better. I had me 1 guy friend who got 2 of his other guy friends + 2 other guys who just happened to pass by and wanted to help= 5 muscular guys. Haha. The last 2 didn't know who the 'owner' was, so when one of them asked, "Kat mana tayar boleh pancit nih?", my friend replied, "Tanyalah tuan punya kereta." So the guy asked, "Sapa tuan punya kereta?" I sheepishly raised my hand. Terpaksala mengaku. And they laughed at me. Ciss ciss! Sempat promote suruh join Motorsports lagi.
Damn, the day really came. I've always been paranoid about being stuck in the middle of nowhere with a flat tyre. Yea I can't jack a car for shit, let alone change a tyre. I suck, I know. They didn't teach me to do that when I took my license. And I never took the initiative to learn but the opportunity never really came either. But hey abracadabra, now I do! Haha. The spare tyre had a yellow sticker affixed on it that stated 80km/h. Meaning it's recommended that I didn't go beyond that limit and they all kept reminding me, jangan melebihi 80km/j ye kak(sambil menunjuk ke arah sticker kuning). Good thing was, I didn't get my hands dirty not that I'd mind if it did. But the point here was, all I did was observe. Hehe.
Driving around with that kinda speed is soooo urghh... I dunno. Especially when people start overtaking you. They must've muttered under their breaths, "Can't you go any slower?" Ermm, I do with slow moving cars. It surely 'helped' too when my mind just happened to not function and just happened to let me into taking the longer route home. Yes, I had taken the Sg. Besi route rather than the much shorter AND cheaper LDP highway. Call me all you want now, I deserve it all. Huwaaaaarghh!!!

It's been a while hasn't it? I was sick for a while, am still on meds in fact. And for a bit, I had the sexiest voice with a sprinkle of sengau-ness... which of course spoilt the sexy bit. Haha.
Anyway, the holidays has been marvellous and the end is drawing near. The long weekend was good too. On Saturday, my family and I left home at 11.30am and headed down south to hometown Melaka before finally reaching the town of Alor Gajah at 4 frigging 30pm!!!!!!!!! Imagine the massive traffic we had to go through. It normally takes about an hour and a half but it took us 5 hours instead. Glad as hell I wasn't driving... it's always good to be driven ain't I right? ;)
My fingers are too lazy to type but here are a few pictures I took recently...

The static road.

My cousin whom I bullied to running from one side of the court to another in a game of badminton he had challenged me into. Muahaha. Evil naz.

My cute cousin, Farah Athirah.

Look what I did to my brother. He doesn't look too content does he? Well, sape suruh main my tudung kan?

He couldn't contain his laughter.

Forced him into giving me a good pose. Haha.
People tell me that the countryside must always be stupid and backward, and I get angry, as if it were said that only townspeople had immortal souls, and that it was only in the city that the flame of divinity breathed into the first men had an unobscured glow. --George William Russell
