Back For a Bit...

written by naz on Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at 6:36 PM.

I have been tortured to the brink for the past 1 and a half week or so... swallowing in as much as my poor brains could accept. And believe it or not, it's still not over yet. Call me unlucky but the whole of my batch who sat for the Engineering Math 3 exam last 16th, have to resit for the paper this Saturday, apparently due to some leakage. Well there goes my cousin's wedding. I'm most likely unable to attend it, racking my shrinking brains instead while the rest of my family will be heading down south.

Anyway as of this instant, I'm really counting the days to finally breathe in pure fresh air, anywhere as long as it isn't in this humid air surrounding campus. Also planning to spend time with dear friends, some who will be returning from abroad for holidays while another who will be going off for the first time. Yea, of course that always leaves poor me stranded here in the end.

Holidays I guess wouldn't be too great. I already have physiotherapy sessions scheduled during those 3 weeks... so that'll probably put a limit to how far I can go. Bummer, bummer!!! And if that doesn't work, then I'll probably get japs. If that doesn't work either, think I'm gonna go and just kill myself. Hahah. Shoot me shoot me!

Okay folks, so much for an update huh? I'll update once I have everything sorted out. Until then.

Of Soulmates

written by naz on Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at 1:24 AM.

Do you believe in such thing as soulmates? Someone who complements you in every way imaginable, who'll walk through that aisle with you hand in hand(or not) and vow to spend the rest of their life with you no matter what the future holds in store? Some people say there is one special individual custom made perfectly for each person in this world. Do you believe that? And if so, what makes you so sure that he/she is THE one?

You can't know for sure, to me at least. I remember writing a piece during 5th form about life partners(which I scored unbelievably in, trust me to menggoreng tah hape hape). I notice that some people hop from one person to another and oh-so-proudly talk about the case of their exes like it's some super-duper-mega-achievement. Being able to 'fish' just about anyone they want. Is it the satisfaction or is it the challenge of doing so? Please enlighten me coz I'm not exactly seeing the light here and for what purpose it fits.

You know what would be the greatest thing of all? To fall hard for someone once and for all and end up spending the rest of your life with just that one person... without any haunting past relationships OR freaky exes. That'd be the bliss-est thing ever.

So much for acting like a hopeless romantic.

On another note, Mr. Flu decided to pounce on me just a few days shame before my final strikes. I'm on all sorts of meds this time around, I don't know if I can even sense my head. I'm so flu-proned, I hate it. Can't wait for the japs I'll be getting right after finals(not related to flu), not because I'm excited about a needle poking around somewhere in my body but because this agony I've had for months just has to end. Carrying it around has proved to be an awful burden. I'll probably resume blogging after finals(or not) so yea... I'll be needing all the prayers I can get. So do pray for me beautiful people...

Something Smells...

written by naz on Tuesday, August 03, 2004 at 10:56 PM.

I loathe watching the news and reading the papers these days. Every page I turn to or anything screened on the idiot box is never without murders or any other form of killings. What is happening to the world or our strip of land specifically? What has become of the humanity and the good morale Asians are supposed to impose? Have our people lost their common sense at all? What's with strangling 3 of your kids to death and your own? All this is turning into major chaos. And for paranoid people like me, leaving home without so much of an escort suddenly gives me goosebumps all over. *shudders*

About my calculator, I give up. I mean that's it! It won't display a damn character and the sight of the circuit is enough to make me purge. We've worked our asses off for so many weeks on it and if it's not gonna cooperate, what can I say... just "Hargailah kalkulator anda!"

All this stinks!

My poor poor calculator... *sniff2*
