Mumbo Jumbo Weekend

It's amazing how when I'm at my busiest, the flow to write seems to come naturally. But right now with time to spare, even though the ideas are all in my head... I can't seem to put them into words. I guess too much is going on in this head of mine.

Anyway, today I set out in the morning and headed over to KLCC before all the parking spots had the chance to even fill up. I had gone specifically to get a refill for my compact powder... and then some. Heheh. So no beating around the bush, I straight away inquired for what I came for. Of course the salesgirl went on promoting her newest skincare product and used my hand as guinea pig. Yada yada yadaaa... all of a sudden, she mentioned about my face developing pigmentations and having brown spots. What?!? When did that happen!? Great! There goes my self-esteem! Cisss, nak lariskan product punya pasal... sanggup kau!

Well she tried to make it right by saying I was fair and that it was normal to be having "freckles". Guess I haven't been inspecting myself in the mirror too well these days. Yeah, I bet she has the "freckles" too if she didn't have that mound of makeup on her! Haha. Jahatnya saya! But yayyy for me, I came and left with what I wanted and wasn't a bit drawn with the new range she was trying to hypnotize me into buying.

Do men get pigmentations as well or is it just women? Just curious.

On another note, I just got paid from the subtitling job I did over the hols for a tsunami documentary. Yaaayyyy!!! Considering I've never worked in my life, it was a bit exciting getting my first pay. Woohooo!!!

Also, I think I twisted the back of my knee(is that even possible?) during karate practice. If my housemate dengar ni mesti dia pikir, isy budak ni, tak habis2 dengan sakit2 dia!

It matters more what's in a woman's face than what's on it. --Claudette Colbert, quoted in Kindling the Spirit by Lois P. Frankel
